Welcome Church School families. November and December is a busy time of year here at St. Andrews. We are preparing for the birth of Jesus during Advent and celebrating His arrival during Christmas. It has been a long tradition here at St. Andrew’s for families to do a short reading and light the Advent candle at the start of our Church services during advent. Please contact Becky Marinov (email@example.com) if interested.
For many the highlight of their Advent season is the Christmas Pageant. We are looking for children and youth who would like to participate. We have speaking and nonspeaking roles available. There will be rehearsals during Godly Play on December 1 and 8. And there will be a dress rehearsal and pizza party with advent crafts on Friday December 13 at 6:00. We understand that this is a busy time of year and if you can’t attend all of the rehearsals, we would still love to have you participate. Please contact Becky Marinov at (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
Volunteers are always welcome but you must have your clearances to volunteer. If you need any help with this process please talk to Becky Marinov.
The Church School is excited to share another opportunity with you. We will be hosting a Potluck for all families in January. Details to come soon. But this will be a chance to meet and discuss the future of the Church School.
Below is a look at our schedule for the remainder of 2019. We have put the Tween Bible Study on a temporary hiatus until 2020.
